Love this image my nine-year-old client captured of me recently. There was a time I absolutely hated how I looked in photos. Now I love when anyone wants to take my picture, especially a child!
Thought I’d share 3 random things about me, in addition to the little factoid about me above, so you can get to know me better:
- Milli Vanilli ain’t got nothing on me. In the 7th grade, my best friend and I won a lip synching contest, performing to “One Fine Day” by the Chiffons. (Also, my memory works so well that I didn’t even have to look up the singing group but I did…to confirm my memory is working.) So this TikTok era of lip synching? Oh, it’s ON!
- I will wear clothes until they literally fall apart. I have been known to safety-pin pants, or to bleach something if stained. Until it screams for mercy and just gives up, I will wear it!
- I’ve recently fallen in love with painting with watercolors. I have no idea what I’m doing but I just love the process so much. I have found it both healing and calming for my soul.
