One thing people may not know about me is how much I love working with tweens and teens. (I once wanted to be a middle school English teacher.) So it’s no wonder that I love working with teens who are celebrating their final year of high school. What. A. Milestone. !!! I love spending time with these young adults who are getting ready to step into the next phase of life, listening to their hopes and ideas. The world awaits, and while I know it can be a mixed bag of thoughts and emotions due to the unknown, it’s also such a beautiful time in life.
This beautiful, smart girl walked the stage a few months ago, and she is stepping into the next stage of life as I share this. And I am one of those people who believe in our younger generations. I believe she will be one of the amazing humans who make the changes we need in this world. (Plus, I know her mama, so I know she has a beautiful example to follow.)
